Natalie S This movie is honestly hilarious and if you think otherwise you have no taste in comedy Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars05/29/24 Full Review david I’d rather see a dental hygiene film than this movie Rated 0.5/5 Stars •Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars04/26/24 Full Review New Spice over Old Spice The character development is so atrociously satire that it makes you forget you're watching a wholesome family movie that utilizes bonding with some acceptable comedy. Unfortunately, it doesn't check the latter boxes and it just turns into an Adam Sandler geek show with an Al Pacino performance that goes to waste. At least it's presentable because of Happy Madison, but not recommended.1.4 / 4.0 | 34% Positive Score Rated 1.5/5 Stars •Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars03/28/24 Full Review Michael B I know I know, I'm a sucker for so-bad-it's-good type stuff. I can't remember the last time I've laugher out loud this much in a movie! (It could be that my wife watching me laugh so much while seeing her WTF face through the goofy jokes, could have contributed Lol) Obviously shut off your brain and enjoy the dumass humor haha Rated 4/5 Stars •Rated 4 out of 5 stars03/23/24 Full Review Sam Jack y Jill es una excelente comedia para ver en familia, tal vez el humor este desactualizado pero también hay que tener en cuenta que este ha evolucionado y tal vez se sienta anticuado. Pero vale la pena verla Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars02/26/24 Full Review Mackenzie K I watch this movie to fall asleep to. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, a film has a rating of 100% if each professional review recorded by the website is assessed as positive rather than negative.
Fresh red tomato. When at least 60% of reviews for a movie or TV show are positive, a red tomato is displayed to indicate its Fresh status. Green splat tomato. When less than 60% of reviews for a movie or TV show are positive, a green splat is displayed to indicate its Rotten status.
There is also a section for Verified Ratings which includes those that have actually bought tickets. To receive a full popcorn bucket, at least 60% of users give a film or show a star rating of 3.5 or higher. A tipped over popcorn bucket indicates that less than 60% of users have given it a 3.5 or higher.
So when a movie such as “Black Panther” gets a certified “fresh” 97 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, we interpret it as a film that is near perfection, while a film such as last year's “The Emoji Movie” that lands around 9 percent, must be a steaming pile of garbage.
Because it's “relatively” easy to get a 100% score after that first handful of reviews (five is the minimum count for a movie to get its Tomatometer), every film listed here has at least crossed the Certified Fresh threshold. Then we sorted them by movies with more reviews featured higher up.
Jack and Jill (plural Jack and Jills) (chiefly attributive) A bachelor party or bachelorette party to which both men and women are invited. (rhyming slang) A bill (as for a restaurant meal). (rhyming slang) A till (cash register). (rhyming slang) A hill.
As a membership organization of moms with children ages 2-19, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.
History. Rotten Tomatoes was launched on August 12, 1998, as a spare time project by Senh Duong. His goal in creating Rotten Tomatoes was "to create a site where people can get access to reviews from a variety of critics in the US".
The “Tomatometer Rankings” connects to the practice of viewers throwing rotten tomatoes when disapproving of a poor stage performance; the higher the percentage a movie receives, the more “fresh” it is and, at least theoretically, better in the show business world.
If 60% of reviews are positive, the movie is given a “Fresh” status, but if positive reviews fall below that benchmark, it is deemed “Rotten.” A popular piece of media will typically fall between the 70-90% range, but rarely, a project will receive a 100% score.
As the reviews of a given film accumulate, the Rotten Tomatoes score measures the percentage that are more positive than negative, and assigns an overall fresh or rotten rating to the movie. Scores of over 60 percent are considered fresh, and scores of 59 percent and under are rotten.
The 99% Club: You'll find it, way past 98% on the Tomatometer, but just before 100%. Inside, a coterie of cinema's practically-finest, movies promising an experience beyond most others – movies that are almost perfect.
